Cloud Architect Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary cloud leader to spearhead our cloud transformation strategy, driving innovation and scalability in our enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver scalable cloud solutions on Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and resilience.
  • Evaluate and select optimal cloud services for infrastructure, applications, and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and design cloud-based systems, leveraging Azure services like auto-scaling and serverless computing.
  • Develop and execute cloud migration strategies with minimal disruption, overseeing continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Analytical skills to identify issues and develop innovative solutions, integrating security best practices into every layer of the stack.
  • Manage proof of concepts and exploratory projects to evaluate cloud services, drive initiatives for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Create architectures with redundancy, fault tolerance, and high availability, establishing performance monitoring and logging strategies using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
  • Represent the cloud architecture function in client discussions, collaborating with executive leadership and key stakeholders on cloud strategies.

Requirements

  • 20+ years in IT, with at least 5+ years architecting large-scale Azure solutions, holding relevant certifications such as Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Comprehensive analysis of current infrastructure, applications, and business requirements, with experience evaluating and selecting cloud services.
  • Designing scalable solutions to accommodate growth and fluctuating workloads, developing Self-Service APIs, CI/CD Pipelines, and Terraform Code for Infrastructure as a Code.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps workflows and progressive delivery strategies, understanding networking principles and technologies.

  • Azure Certifications such as Security Engineer Associate, knowledge of security frameworks like Zero Trust, SSO, and OAuth.
