Junior Finance Executive Role

The role of Junior Finance Executive plays a vital part in the finance department, supporting daily operations and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. This position involves close collaboration with the Finance Manager, external service providers and cross-functional teams to contribute to compliance and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update financial records and ledgers with high accuracy.
  • Reconcile bank statements and liaise with accounting service providers for shared tasks.
  • Process vendor invoices and employee claims in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Prepare and submit periodic statutory returns and ensure timely tax payments.
  • Assist with management report preparation and support internal and external audit requirements.
Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience in financial operations, reporting, and compliance, preferably in a corporate or shared service environment.
  • Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and basic direct tax rules.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Oracle or ERP systems).
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exposure to month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit preparation.
  • A team player with a proactive problem-solving approach.
