We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to assume the role of Financial Operations Manager.

This position will be part of our organization's finance department, providing strategic support for financial planning and management.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent analytical abilities, and exceptional leadership qualities.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the month-end close process, preparing statutory financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • He or she will also oversee internal controls, ensuring that financial integrity is maintained and risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain relationships with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on evolving accounting standards and updates from relevant regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field, with a professional certification (CA/CPA).
  • 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, book close process, and direct and indirect tax compliances.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, withholding tax, regular tax compliance, transfer pricing, GST, and other tax compliances.
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Ind-AS.
  • Strong analytical thinker who can identify and implement effective processes improvements.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and experience with Oracle R12.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and multitasking skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Mature, proactive, resourceful, and takes initiative in responsibilities, independent worker who can deliver with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax and Compliance Responsibilities:
    1. Preparation of tax calculations, estimates, and reports accruals, advance tax computations.
    2. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate tax & GST returns for our entity.
    3. Support Tax Team in managing India tax matters & regional initiatives.
    4. Supporting in preparation of FIN-48, US Corp tax provision computation, support statutory, tax & GST audits of the entity.
    5. Liaise with tax consultants in effective and on time filing of reply to various notices, orders of direct tax assessments.
    6. Preparation of information & co-ordination with external consultants for representation to Tax authorities and support tax litigation matters.
    7. Prepare current and deferred tax provision for US GAAP purpose.
    8. Supporting India Team in internal tax advisory services and support on business operations.
    9. Reviewing the checklist of statutory compliance under direct & indirect tax & ensure that compliance of the same are submitted on time.
