Project Management Expertise

Mercans is a global HR, payroll and SaaS company that offers a wide range of services to support businesses in managing their workforce efficiently.

We are looking for an experienced project manager who will be responsible for planning, executing and completing Payroll & SaaS implementation projects within the designated timeline while ensuring client satisfaction.

The primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, ensures smooth execution of Mercans' services. This role involves defining project goals, objectives and scope, developing detailed project plans and ensuring alignment with business policies.

The Project Manager maintains proactive communication, mitigates project risks and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, scope documents and requirement specifications.
  • Ensure all project artifacts are stored in a structured and accessible format, complying with internal documentation standards.
  • Document key decisions, action items and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution:
  • Define project scope based on the Master Service Agreement (MSA) to prevent scope creep.
  • Establish processes for managing scope, quality, performance standards and risk assessment.
Resource & Risk Management:
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel, budget and technology, ensuring efficient utilization.
  • Actively monitor for potential risks, conduct risk assessments and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
  • Manage client expectations with respect to the scope and project timelines.
  • Act as the primary contact for client stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and changes.
Requirements Gathering & System Configuration:
  • Conduct operational business requirements gathering using standard implementation toolkit artifacts.
Integrations & Data Migration:
  • Coordinate data dictionary and wage type catalog requirements with the integration team.
Testing Oversight & Supervision:
  • Oversee and supervise all testing processes, ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices.
Training & Go-Live Readiness:
  • Develop and execute a structured training plan to educate clients on system functionalities, payroll processes and compliance requirements.
Project Status Reporting:
  • Ensure timely and accurate project status reporting in accordance with company standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in end-to-end global payroll implementations project management and hold PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
