Financial Transactions Specialist Role

As a Financial Transactions Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial accuracy of operations by ensuring timely and precise invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers within agreed timelines.
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites and submit them via electronic data interchange.
  • Verify each field on invoices before submission to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain invoice submission logs and customer invoicing process files for reference.
  • Work closely with the payroll & invoicing team to streamline the invoice submission process.
  • Send out statement of accounts to customers and reconcile self-billed cases with approved timesheets.
  • Handle invoice rejections and credit/rebill requests.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the complete invoicing process, including account-wise updates.
  • Provide continuous support for improving platforms used for invoicing.
  • Collaborate with Credit Control to assist in invoicing and collection of payments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in invoicing is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, V-lookup, and Pivot Table, is essential.
  • Good analytical and process knowledge, as well as accounting knowledge, are required.
