Role Overview

About YourDOST is India's leading emotional wellness platform, aiming to make emotional wellness accessible and stigma-free. We collaborate with corporations, colleges, and mental health professionals to provide support.

This role involves working closely with students in a rotational basis, providing mental health support, conducting counseling sessions, facilitating walk-in sessions, and maintaining records while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.

The ideal candidate should hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology, have experience working with youth/academic mental health, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mental Health Support: Provide overnight mental health support on a rotational basis (10 PM – 6 AM).
  • Counseling Sessions: Conduct in-person counseling sessions in student hostels.
  • Facilitate Sessions: Facilitate walk-in sessions and manage student appointments through the online portal.
  • Community Building: Undertake floor walks in hostels (along with Wellness Champions) to build visibility, accessibility, and trust with students.
  • Case Management: Maintain timely case notes, records, and reports while upholding strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree: Hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology.
  • Experience: Have (1 - 8 years) experience (or strong interest) in working with youth/academic mental health.
  • Skills: Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with students in an empathetic, approachable way.
  • Flexibility: Are comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts.
  • Languages: Are fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Bengali is a plus).
