Job Description
As a Catastrophe Modelling Specialist, you will provide technical support to reinsurance underwriters, helping them model and analyze catastrophe risks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze cedant exposure models and import results into vendor risk modeling environments.
• Communicate with US, CAD, and LDN underwriters and analysts regarding follow-up questions and modelling assumptions.
• Apply complex reinsurance treaties and terms, such as Cat Excess of Loss, Cat XL, Working Excess of Loss, and Quota Share.

Requirements:

Technical Qualifications:
• In-depth knowledge of CAT modeling and experience using RMS RiskLink, RiskModeller, AIR Touchstone, and other relevant platforms.
• Strong understanding of reinsurance backtables schema and portfolio roll-up treaty modelling domain.

Customer Focus:
• Excellent written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact directly with end customers (an advantage).
• Ability to handle rotational shifts, including late evenings.

Academic Qualifications:
• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Geology, or Geophysics.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of global reinsurance market and PC insurance terminology.

Location:
Hyderabad, with accommodation for Bangalore-based candidates willing to travel per business demands.
