ETL Developer
We are seeking a skilled ETL developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Participate in data modeling, performance tuning, and ETL architecture design.
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT for ETL jobs.
  • Implement data quality and data profiling strategies using IBM tools or third-party utilities.
  • Manage scheduling and automation of ETL workflows using tools like Control-M, Autosys, or IBM DataStage Director.
  • Monitor, debug, and resolve performance and production issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation, version control, and adhere to SDLC processes.
  • Work in Agile Scrum or Waterfall environments as required.
  • Provide mentoring or leadership to junior developers when needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8 years of hands-on experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage versions 8.x-11.x.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL best practices, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
  • Experience with Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or other major RDBMSs.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux scripting for automation and job orchestration.
  • Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage tools.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms, AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Experience integrating with big data platforms, Hadoop, Spark is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data lake, data mesh, or data fabric architectures is an advantage.
