Marine Structure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Structure Specialist with a solid background in Civil Engineering and Coastal/Marine Structures. The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience in marine structure design, analysis, and construction, including 2+ years of hands-on experience in coastal and marine construction.

The successful candidate will lead the design, planning, and construction of marine infrastructure including breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, and docks for major port projects. They will also provide in-depth expertise in coastal and marine engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure in challenging coastal environments.

  • Design & Construction of Marine Infrastructure: Lead the design, planning, and construction of marine structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Coastal Engineering Expertise: Provide advanced knowledge of coastal and marine engineering principles to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure.
  • Structural & Geotechnical Analysis: Conduct comprehensive structural and geotechnical assessments, ensuring the long-term durability and stability of marine structures under varying tidal and wave conditions.
  • Project Management & Coordination: Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including project managers, consultants, contractors, and government bodies, to ensure successful execution of marine construction works.
  • Environmental & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure construction processes meet environmental regulations and safety standards to minimize impacts on the coastal ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in marine structures design, construction, and project execution.
  • Post Graduate degree in Marine Structures or equivalent, with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in coastal or marine construction, working on breakwater systems, jetties, seawalls, and other port infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in marine engineering software (e.g., MIKE21, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro) for designing and simulating coastal and marine structures.
  • Strong knowledge of coastal processes, including hydrodynamics, wave modeling, and sediment transport.
  • Experience with risk management and ability to develop cost-effective solutions for marine infrastructure.
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering large-scale projects.
