Hydrographic Survey Expert with a B.E. in Civil Engineering and 10+ years of experience in hydrographic surveying for port and marine infrastructure projects is sought after.

This position involves planning and executing hydrographic survey work, ensuring accurate data collection for design, construction, and environmental assessments.

Analyze survey data and generate reports, maps, and charts for stakeholders, providing crucial information for project design, dredging, and coastal protection.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in hydrographic surveying, particularly in port and coastal infrastructure projects.
  • Survey Recorder Class I or Class II qualification (mandatory).
  • Extensive knowledge of surveying methods used for port development, bathymetric surveys, and marine geospatial analysis.
  • Proficiency in hydrographic software such as CARIS, HYPACK, and GIS for data analysis and mapping.
  • Experience with multibeam sonar, single-beam echo sounders, and other specialized survey equipment.
  • Solid understanding of marine and coastal environments, including tidal variations, water depths, and seabed topography.
  • Excellent analytical skills to ensure precise data collection and interpretation.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an office setting.
  • Strong communication skills to produce clear and concise reports for project stakeholders.
