Key Financial Position

You will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with US taxation and accounting standards. Your primary responsibilities include overseeing payroll management for Indian employees and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Accounting Duties
  • Fund Accounting:
    • Manage fund accounting activities, including maintaining ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for stakeholders.
    • Oversee cash flow management, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
  • US Taxation Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with US taxation laws for venture capital funds.
    • Monitor tax regulations affecting the fund's operations and investor relations.
    • Work closely with external auditors to ensure accurate tax filings and planning.
  • Payroll Management (Indian Employees):
    • Oversee payroll processing for Indian employees, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
    • Manage salary calculations, bonuses, and deductions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Ensure timely salary disbursement and handle administrative tasks.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Assist in preparing financial reports and audits, providing insights into the firm's financial health.
    • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support leadership decisions.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure financial operations comply with relevant regulations.
    • Maintain records and documentation for financial transactions, audits, and tax filings.


Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in financial accounting or a related field, with strong understanding of US taxation.
  • Experience in payroll management for Indian employees, with knowledge of Indian tax laws.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with accounting software and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or other certifications preferred.
