Job Title: Purchasing Executive

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Purchasing Executive to join our team.

About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to identify, evaluate, and develop strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain operations. This will involve conducting thorough assessments of supplier capabilities, negotiating favorable terms and conditions, and implementing cost-saving initiatives throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supplier Identification and Evaluation
  2. Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  3. Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement in their processes, quality, and delivery performance.
  4. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable payment terms.
  5. Implement cost-saving initiatives throughout the supply chain, such as reducing lead times, improving inventory management, and optimizing logistics.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD, knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques (cutting, bending), and an understanding of industry standards and compliance.
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
