Job Overview:

This role merges in-depth research with hands-on software development to ensure end-to-end AI capability delivery. It bridges the gap between science and technology by innovating on language models, prompt systems, evaluation frameworks, and algorithm pipelines.

You will develop experimental prototypes suitable for academic-quality write-ups and productize those ideas into robust software.

">Main Responsibilities">
  • ">
  • Tackle experiments in LLM training, agent architectures, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and new evaluation methodologies.">
  • Build code-first prototypes to test hypotheses and iterate rapidly, refactoring them into production systems when experiments succeed.">
  • Develop and benchmark improvements in LLM architecture, fine-tuning workflows, and generation control.">
  • Optimize for performance, resource efficiency, and interpretability.">
  • Own infrastructure, including data pipelines, experiment sandboxes, model serving, batch/online inference, logging, and CI/CD.">
  • Treat experiments as software, ensuring automated tests, clear versioning, reproducibility, and documentation.">
  • Create frameworks to automate scientific cycles, such as data generation, metric computation, and model comparison dashboards.">
  • Enable internal teams to run reproducible experiments at scale.">
  • Write up interesting findings, including internal memos, tech blogs, or scholarship-worthy results.">
  • Participate in code and science critique sessions with peers.">
  • Measure success through research innovation, engineering quality and velocity, system impact and use.">
  • Ensure experimental pipelines and prototypes are production-ready within sprint cycles, with clean codebases, smooth deployments, and few bugs.">
  • Drive real product features using R&D code, resulting in high user adoption, improved reliability, or performance.">
  • Hold a Master's or Ph.D. in CS, ML, or related fields (or equivalent experience).">
  • Have deep familiarity with LLMs, fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning.">
  • Be an expert in Python and frameworks like PyTorch or JAX, with experience in Hugging Face or deployed LLM APIs.">
  • Have strong software engineering intuition, including modular design, CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.">
  • Demonstrate a track record in both research and production settings, with prototypes published internally or externally.">
  • Bonus: familiarity with Kubernetes, JAX compiler stacks, Hugging Face Accelerate, or MLOps toolchains.">
  • Apply knowledge of machine learning, programming languages, and software engineering principles to drive innovation and growth in AI research and development.">
