Cloud Architect Role

As a Cloud Architect, you will play a vital part in crafting and implementing large-scale cloud solutions that drive digital transformation.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures. This is a hands-on technical leadership role involving strategic decision-making, troubleshooting complex challenges, and promoting best practices in cloud adoption and migration.

  • Design and implement robust, scalable solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Develop cloud architecture strategies that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include leading automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and eliminate manual processes, architecting and overseeing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, PowerShell, and Bicep, and implementing automation solutions to streamline cloud development and operations.

  • Write and review code for cloud-based applications and services.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure architectural integrity.

Additionally, you will manage cloud infrastructure following IaC principles, use Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources, explore and integrate Generative AI solutions into cloud environments, stay updated on AI and machine learning advancements, lead resolution of complex cloud-related incidents, maintain troubleshooting protocols for cloud environments, implement cloud security best practices, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, assess legacy applications and develop modernization strategies, apply Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or ITIL practices to cloud projects, contribute to IT strategy and roadmap using well-defined frameworks, automate software delivery, infrastructure changes, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes, make architectural decisions around microservices, API gateways, scalability, and resilience in cloud-native designs.
