Cloud migration is a critical process that enables businesses to transition their operations to cloud-based platforms, minimizing disruptions and enhancing efficiency. As a Cloud Migration Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent cloud migration services to customers.

The specialist position involves helping businesses identify their current IT infrastructure and business processes to determine the best cloud migration strategy. You will work with customers to execute this strategy, leveraging your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure successful completion within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Customer Cloud Environments: Develop customer-centric cloud environments, focusing on AWS/Azure and showcasing technical cloud operational knowledge.
  • Infrastructure Migration Methodologies: Provide solutions in mass application movements into the cloud, utilizing migration techniques and tools.
  • Migration Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage migration plans and timelines, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the migration process.
  • Project Communication: Communicate progress and status of the migration to project stakeholders.
  • Testing and Validation: Manage and coordinate testing and validation of migrated data/systems.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain documentation related to the migration, providing training and support to end-users as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: More than 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, and cloud migration.
  • Cloud Migration Experience: Minimum of 3+ years on cloud migration (AWS / Azure).
  • Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Associate / Azure Certified Administrator - Mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding across Azure and AWS infrastructure components, proficient in PowerShell, ARM templates, and other scripting languages used for automation and deployment on the cloud.
