Website Evaluation Specialist

A detail-oriented professional is needed to evaluate websites from start to finish.

The successful candidate will follow a checklist, test the website's usability, payment options, and complete small test purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the purpose of assigned websites.
  • Follow a step-by-step checklist and record findings.
  • Test key user flows like browsing products, adding to cart, and checking out.
  • Identify and report issues like broken links, confusing content, or accessibility problems.
  • Verify payment methods (credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple/Google Pay) and complete test transactions.
  • Confirm post-purchase details like order confirmation pages and email receipts.
  • Take screenshots or screen recordings to demonstrate findings.
  • Prioritize issues based on severity and suggest quick fixes.
  • Keep stakeholders updated on progress and report any blockers.
  • Handle login details and test data securely.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Web browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge (on desktop and mobile).
  • Screen capture tools: Loom, CleanShot, or similar.
  • Task tracking: Jira, Asana, Trello.
  • Docs: Google Docs/Sheets, Notion.
  • Security tools: Password manager, VPN (if needed).
