Project Cost Manager

A Project Cost Manager plays a crucial role in managing the costs associated with construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in cost management and a strong understanding of systems and construction processes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budget planning, contract administration, and ensuring project requirements are met. They will work closely with project stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study project scope in-line with design requirements.
  • Validate technical specifications received from the design team.
  • Optimize specifications without deviating from client requirements.
  • Validate bills of quantities (BOQs) and backup workings.
  • Present BOQs and solutions to management for approval.
  • Check and verify RA bills and final bills.
  • Prepare amendments as required.
  • Validate budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrix.
  • Submit different budget options considering alternative solutions.
  • Explore new products and propose them for approval.
  • Propose optimization options in budgets.
  • Complete budget requirements within given timelines without delays.
  • Prepare reports on cost analysis of projects as per management requirements.
