Job Title: Fish Welfare Initiative Manager

About the Role
  • Leadership: Manage 3+ team members, supervise project implementation, review data, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to protocols.
  • Farm Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with farmers, obtain farm information, and engage with stakeholders.
  • Scaling and Strategic Assistance: Provide input during strategic meetings, lead farm enrollment, and assist in expansion.
Requirements
  • Nationality: You have the right to work in India.
  • Experience with field programs: 1 year of experience managing field programs in the development, environmental protection, or animal advocacy sectors.
  • Language: Fluent in oral and written Telugu and English.
  • Location: Full-time presence in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh required.
  • Transportation: Ability to drive a motorbike or scooter on rural roads.
Ideal Candidate
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or greater in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Social Sciences, or other sciences.
  • Technical expertise: Previous experience with water quality analysis and management in aquaculture.
