About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python automation testing and Agile processes.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality software through automated testing and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Python.

Collaborate with development teams to create robust, comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.

API Testing

Perform API testing and validate backend services using Python-based tools.

Defect Tracking

Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.

Agile Environment

Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Cross-Functional Teamwork

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high test coverage and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for test automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6–12 years of total experience in Software QA, with at least 4 years of strong hands-on automation experience in Python.
  • Strong understanding of QA processes, testing life cycle, and test methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium (with Python).
  • Solid experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Requests library, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
