Our organization is seeking an experienced Security Engineer-II to join our Cyber Security Team. This role involves responsible risk assessment and management for customer and internal activities, including proprietary and public data.

A day in the life of this role includes:

  • Responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and security questionnaires
  • Coordinating with RFP teams and legal teams on reviewing security questionnaires and exhibits, BAA/MSA queries and responding to follow-ups and customer queries
  • Analyzing and updating existing compliance policies and procedures and related documentations
  • Implementing privacy controls and policies
  • Driving vendor risk assessment and risk management programs
  • Maintaining communication and coordinating with corporate, legal and IT teams
  • Implementing audit controls for external audits like SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA, HiTrust, ISO 27701, etc.
  • Performing third-party risk assessments and working on remediation of findings
  • Familiarizing with regulations in the United States healthcare and Middle East regions
  • Coordinating with internal teams for gathering evidence and presenting it to auditors
  • Identifying control gaps and weaknesses and formulating action plans to address them

Requirements include:

  • Understanding of different privacy and compliance controls of federal and state regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in information security risk and compliance
  • Hands-on experience with HIPAA, SOC II, ISO 27001:2022, HiTrust, etc.
  • Familiarity with compliances like GDPR, NIST SP 800-53, HiTech, FedRamp, AzRamp, MARS E, etc.
  • Vendor risk assessment, responding to RFPs and legal review of security exhibits
  • Working with corporate compliance teams for audits
  • Good to have CISSP/CISA or other relevant certifications
  • Hands-on skills in data security controls
  • Ready to take up more responsibilities along with existing roles
  • Understanding of security architecture and proficiency in immediately of data security controls
  • Able to work independently, being a team player, ability to work well under pressure
  • Familiarization with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Collaborates effectively and communicates efficiently
  • Readily available to work with teams and clients outside India in USA and Middle East
