**OVERVIEW**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Configure and execute vulnerability scans enumerating vulnerabilities within the internal and external network.
- Analyze, enrich and prioritize specific activities designed to remediate discovered vulnerabilities such as patch deployment or configuration hardening.
- Conduct information security management reviews and information security management system (ISMS) assessments.
- Work with various vulnerability threat feeds (such as partner bulletins), assessment tools, asset inventory tools as well as reporting tools and frameworks to match assets to identified vulnerabilities and produce reports.
- Identify gaps in available asset information and engage with leadership on strategies to meet service-level requirements through affirmative handoff with remediation partners
- Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance security management systems.
- Participate in the creation, review and update of information security policies.
- Provide complex technical advice, recommendations and consultancy on networks, infrastructure, products and services supplied.Provide or assist with implementation documentation.
- Participate in risk assessment, security code review and general vulnerability management.
- Perform Network VAPT and Hardening review of endpoint, network and servers.
- Address technical questions that Partners and the project team have in regards to the implementation of the technology or process.

**Must have**

Holding a degree and having a technical background will be required to gain a Security Consultant/ Officer role. Degrees in Information Technology and Information Security are preferred. 3 to 4 years experience in the security consultant role
- Experience in information security management and related functions such as IT Risk Management
- Ability to align information security policies with business requirements
- Flair for translating information security requirements into IT security controls and measures
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
- Project management skills and an ability to translate business requirements into technical IT security deliverables
- Familiar with ISMS certification like ISO 27001,software composition analysis(SCA), security scanning and PEN testing.
- Familiar with industry and regulatory requirements relevant to policy and control frameworks in information security and data privacy.
