Overview

The Risk Management area is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk. May include establishing risk management procedures and processes to ensure adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

The Information Security Officer (ISO) is responsible for the enforcement of the Security Management framework, policies and procedures as well as the identification of new security management threats following the implementation of new systems or changes in technology. You will serve as the primary ISO and point of contact for all things security for our staff in India. The ISO will ensure compliance to TNS security policies, relevant industry standards and regulations, as well as the promotion of general security best practices. You will be required to work closely with the various security team members on a variety of projects that will be in support maturing different programs of our Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Qualifications

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist with information security control reviews, third-party risk assessments, incident response efforts, and consult and remediate on security audit recommendations.
- Conduct security risk assessments for various products and services
- Manage and maintain the updates of security documents
- Assist with physical and logical security tasks
- Develop policies and processes that support the Security Management function and mitigate against operational and security risks.
- Manage security risks, concerns and breaches through to resolution.
- Manage key relationships with security partners and other internal departments.
- Active engagement with Security and Industry stakeholders, liaising on key changes and trends.
- Govern certification, adherence and compliance to all security requirements as required by the business.
- Sponsorship and execution of technology & security advancements.
- Ensure production systems are secure, up to date and vulnerabilities managed in a timely and effective manner.
- Educate new employees and ensure existing employees are updated on security best practices and expectations.
- Ensure that operational leaders are aware of security & standards and ensure employees complete their work within security policies.
- Consultancy and engagement of future technology systems and investment as relates to production environment and overall business security.
- Some interstate & international travel to client sites, conferences, and other events may be necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of maturing our ISMS.
