Job Description
  • Lead the design configuration and deployment of industrial automation applications across manufacturing operations.
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting systems.
  • Ensure seamless integration of operational technology (OT) systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and manufacturing execution systems (MES) with enterprise IT systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain secure and efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases, SQL historians, and time-series databases for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing and predictive analytics.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADA/MES deployments to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in process automation engineering.
  • Strong understanding of OT systems, PLCs, SCADA, and MES.
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT systems, ERP databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
