Financial Operations Specialist

This position involves handling day-to-day finance and accounts operations. Responsibilities include managing General Ledger, Reconciliations, Taxation, and supporting audits under the supervision of a Manager.
The ideal candidate will have strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles and journal entries, as well as proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Handle daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledger postings, reconciliations (bank, vendor, intercompany), and fixed assets accounting.
- Support monthly and annual closing processes by preparing schedules, reports, and accurate financial data.
- Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports and assist in variance analysis as directed by the Manager.
- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues appropriately
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
- Ethical conduct and data confidentiality

Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines
