Cloud Transformation Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Google Cloud Platform (GCP) engineer to lead strategic cloud initiatives and drive presales engagements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud migration, landing zone design, VMware and GCVE, GKE, and network and security architecture.

This role demands a blend of technical leadership, client engagement, and delivery oversight. You will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade landing zones on GCP, leading cloud migration strategies, and ensuring robust network and security architectures.

You will also mentor and guide engineering teams across cloud engagements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Persales & Estimation:
  • - Lead client discussions, solutioning, and proposal development for GCP opportunities.
  • - Provide accurate effort estimations and resource planning for cloud transformation projects.
  • Architecture & Delivery:
  • - Design and implement enterprise-grade landing zones on GCP.
  • - Lead cloud migration strategies including rehost, re-platform, and refactor approaches.
  • - Architect and deploy VMware workloads on GCVE and containerized applications on GKE.
  • - Ensure robust network and security architectures, including VPC design, IAM, firewall rules, and compliance controls.
  • Technical Leadership:
  • - Mentor and guide engineering teams across cloud engagements.
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application teams.
  • Client Engagement:
  • - Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • - Drive innovation and thought leadership in cloud adoption and modernization.
