Cloud Architect Position

About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled cloud architect to lead our team in designing and implementing complex cloud solutions for businesses worldwide.

The Role:

This strategic leadership position involves defining and driving the technical cloud strategy for our clients. As a cloud chief architect, you will lead architectural discussions, translating business requirements into robust, scalable, and future-proof cloud solutions.

  • Technical Leadership & Vision:
  • Define and articulate the overarching cloud architectural vision and strategy for our client engagements.
  • Develop and maintain multi-year cloud technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment with industry trends, emerging technologies, and business objectives.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new cloud technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance our competitive edge.
  • Client Engagement & Solution Evangelism:
  • Act as the primary technical interface for clients, leading high-level architectural discussions, workshops, and presentations.
  • Understand complex client business challenges and translate them into effective, innovative cloud-based technical strategies and solutions.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our cloud solutions, demonstrating how they address client needs for predictability, security, resilience, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Solution Architecture & Design Excellence:
  • Oversee and guide the design of complex, large-scale, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized.
  • Develop and enforce architectural best practices, standards, patterns, and governance frameworks across cloud projects.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of overall IT experience, with a strong background in infrastructure, application development, and enterprise architecture.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS and Azure mandatory; GCP highly desirable).

Required Skills:

  • Professional or Expert-level certifications from AWS (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional) and/or Azure (e.g., Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and container orchestration.
