Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Senior Transportation Security Director. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a world-class security program for our transportation network, ensuring the safety of our customers, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Sort Center & Delivery Centre Operations teams to execute company security policies and provide security services and asset protection within assigned locations and surrounding geographies.
  • Perform risk assessments of sites and operations models, identifying mitigation measures to prevent losses and accidents.
  • Ensure sites comply with company security policies and industry or merchant requirements, completing and coordinating final tests and acceptance of site security systems.
  • Establish effective procedures and prevention programs impacting losses, pilferage, accident trends, and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses.
  • Frequently audit sites to identify non-compliance equipment and/or processes, implementing solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury.
  • Work with guarding vendors to ensure clear understanding of expectations and accountability to deliver on them, meeting or surpassing service level agreement requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in investigative, loss prevention, or supply-chain fields, preferably in a multinational environment or 10 years of armed forces or law enforcement service experience with at least 2 years of corporate Security/Loss Prevention/Supply chain Experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced level of computer literacy, and proficiency in MS office package.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with business tools, understand business metrics, perform in pressure environments, and adhere to timelines.
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and proven experience in managing stakeholders and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to work with facility site leaders and other key departments, analytical leadership experience in performance-based management, strong project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, Access, Exception Based Reporting, etc., and experience with delivery stations or cargo handling stations and transportation network security.
Salary Range:

$140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
