Job Title: Production Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our team.

  • This role involves overseeing the production process, ensuring it aligns with established plans and goals.
  • You will be responsible for managing resources including manpower, machinery, materials, and finances to support production.
  • Monitoring production progress, making timely adjustments as necessary to meet project deadlines is also key to this role.
  • Maintaining quality standards by conducting regular inspections and tests is essential in ensuring we deliver high-quality products.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and enforcing safety policies to minimize accidents.
  • Optimizing inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods is another important aspect of this role.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-15 years of experience in freight car business and wagon manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with production processes, welding, assembly, and testing.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Knowledge of wagon engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience executing large-scale production projects.
  • Understanding of quality control and safety regulations in rail industry/heavy fabrication industries.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies.
