About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving marketing activities in the APAC region for Kennametal's Infrastructure business. This role involves enhancing brand visibility, increasing market penetration for existing and new products, and generating business opportunities through digital and non-digital marketing platforms.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop a comprehensive content package that aligns with the company's positioning and identity, implemented across all customer touchpoints, including brochures, videos, social media content, exhibition booths, ads, and technical articles.
- Design and execute a digital marketing strategy for the business, defining objectives, identifying channels, target audience, developing a content plan, and measuring ROI. Manage various digital platforms, ensuring relevant and up-to-date content on the website, blog, and social media channels.
- Create and implement customized marcom plans for target countries within the APAC region, including India, in coordination with regional teams. This will involve marketing collateral, digital activities, events, and regional translations (where necessary).
- Segment-wise marketing and portfolio positioning: develop marketing packages (brochures, emailers, videos) for identified segments. Focus on creating comprehensive marketing programs for identified products to increase sales and market share.
- Support business with market intelligence data from various primary and secondary sources, developing periodic reports to aid business growth. Conduct periodic market research projects either in-house or in consultation with agencies to support business expansion plans.
- Manage relationships with external vendors to develop high-quality content and collateral at optimal costs, implementing tools to measure communication effectiveness.
- Prepare and implement event and media plans for the business, identifying relevant exhibitions, industry forums, magazines, and enabling company participation.
- Event/exhibition management with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Kennametal's global marketing organization to align with overall business messaging.
- A degree in Engineering is preferred but not mandatory; an MBA in Marketing would be beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills meeting global standards.
- A minimum of 8-9 years of experience in B2B marketing, with domain expertise in marketing.
- Experience working with market research and data analytics.
- A proven track record of driving marketing initiatives in different geographies within APAC.
- Experience/exposure in digital marketing.
We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $85,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
