Job Title:

Demineralisation Plant Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Demineralisation (DM) water treatment plant supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, and quality assurance of a DM water treatment plant.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DM plant operations, particularly in thermal or biomass power plants, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/in-charge role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and supervise the entire DM water treatment process, including Reverse Osmosis (RO), Electrodeionization (EDI), Softener, Degasser Tower, and Mixed Bed units.
  2. Ensure a consistent and reliable supply of demineralised water with required quality parameters for high-pressure boilers and turbines.
  3. Conduct regular chemical analysis of raw water, demineralised water, condensate, and feedwater to maintain steam purity and avoid boiler/turbine scaling and corrosion.
  4. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot process issues, and coordinate with maintenance and instrumentation teams for timely repairs and calibration.
  5. Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Supervise a team of water treatment technicians/operators, conduct training sessions, and enforce safety protocols.
