Job Title: Agricultural Field Lead

Fish Welfare Initiative is seeking an experienced professional to lead our field operations and oversee a team of staff. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing people and building strong relationships with farmers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our farm program, including supervising staff, implementing protocols, and conducting audits. They will also be expected to build and maintain relationships with farmers, obtain necessary information, and spend time in the field engaging with staff and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of staff and oversee the implementation of protocols and experiments.
  • Conduct audits and quality control checks to ensure adherence to protocols.
  • Build and maintain relationships with farmers, obtaining necessary information and updating data accordingly.
  • Spend time in the field engaging with staff and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in oral and written Telugu and English.
