Senior Control Systems Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with BLDC motor control and precision positioning systems, as well as strong knowledge of control theory (PID, adaptive control, state-space).

The selected candidate will work closely with mechanical engineers to integrate actuators, gimbals, and hardware subsystems. Experience with ROS/ROS2 and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet) is desirable. Furthermore, exposure to machine learning integration in control systems and experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing or ruggedized system design would be advantageous.

This role offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects that make farming easier, sustainable, and more profitable for farmers. You will be part of a team designing and implementing systems that move from the lab to the field, impacting real farms in India and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement control systems for laser targeting systems
  • Work closely with mechanical engineers to integrate actuators, gimbals, and hardware subsystems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement system-level designs
  • Evaluate and test system performance to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for control systems and algorithms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in control systems engineering, robotics, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of control theory, including PID, adaptive control, and state-space
  • Experience with programming languages C++ and Python on embedded systems
  • Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
