Livelihoods Strategist

Roundglass Foundation seeks an experienced professional to lead its rural livelihoods strategy in Punjab. The successful candidate will develop and implement sustainable, scalable, and inclusive income opportunities across the region.

• About the Role: This is a challenging opportunity for a results-driven individual with expertise in rural development, community enterprise building, and social entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading large-scale initiatives in India, preferably in Punjab or North India.

Responsibilities: Develop a comprehensive livelihoods strategy aligned with Roundglass Foundation's vision and socio-economic realities in Punjab. Identify and design sustainable income-generating opportunities for rural communities, including agri-allied enterprises, skill development, women-led micro-enterprises, and green economy initiatives. Build models that can scale across Punjab and ensure long-term community ownership.

Key Skills and Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Rural Development, Management, Social Work, Agriculture, or related fields. 10–15 years of progressive experience in livelihoods, rural development, or community enterprise building. Proven track record of leading large-scale livelihood initiatives in India, preferably in Punjab/North India. Strong understanding of social enterprises, women's economic empowerment, agriculture, and allied sectors.
