Job Summary:

A Digital Product Strategist leads the execution of product lifecycle processes for Insurtech products/platforms, working with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfillment of product requirements and evaluating product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical discussions with Engineering teams & thoroughly manage technical/business requirements.
  • Determine product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
  • Mentor/Drive a team of Product Managers while acting as a technical consultant to the product organization and lead research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.
  • Evaluate the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering to ensure proper alignment with and support for the product/business road map.
  • Act as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development and requirements.
  • Oversee major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests, responsible for product delivery managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of experience into Product Management, including analyzing software/product design, development, and deployment.
  • Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent Degree in technology or related field.
  • Strong Background of working as a Technical & Functional Product Manager or Business Analyst/Product Analyst in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis etc.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC & technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, and operating systems.
  • Coaching & mentoring a team of Product Managers or Product Owners.
  • An SME who performs work with a high degree of latitude; handles the most complex issues.
  • Possess strong Communication skills, Problem-solving & Analytical thinking skills.
  • Can lead individual assignments & deliver with strong expertise.
  • Expert level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools.
  • Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional in a global team setup.
