Key Role for a Data and Analytics Professional

Job Description:

The key role of the Fraud Risk Manager is to contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in fraud prevention and detection. This involves supporting data, machine learning models, and artificial intelligence technology, as well as collaborating with reporting analysts to deliver robust and timely data insights.

The successful candidate will maintain the effectiveness of investigation tools and technologies, data processes, and reporting that delivers insightful information to stakeholders. They will thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance team environment where creativity and common sense result in effective solutions.

  • Hands-on experience in analytics and data science is essential.
  • Model development and exposure to fraud detection are required.
  • A good understanding of large language models (LLMs) and other new techniques is necessary.
  • Data deep dive, insight generation, dashboard reporting, and presentation skills are crucial.
  • End-to-end project delivery and stakeholder management are key responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • M.Sc in Statistics, Economics, or Engineering degree or professional education in data science.
  • Good knowledge of Python, R, SQL, MS Excel, and SQL database & coding.
  • At least a bachelor's degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or Statistics.
