School Counsellor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced School Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development and psychology, with the ability to translate concepts into impactful interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop a thorough understanding of our processes, services, and protocols to deliver expert psychological services to partner schools, including counseling, workshops, assessments, and stakeholder engagement.
  • To design, implement, and manage interventions for parents, teachers, and students to enhance psychological well-being and performance across school communities.
  • To lead program creation, execution, and evaluation to ensure alignment with best practices and organizational objectives.
  • To maintain accurate records and documentation of services, supporting assessments, and ensuring high standards.
  • To mentor and supervise junior psychologists, interns, and coordinators to foster growth and enhance service delivery.
  • To conduct and oversee psychological assessments, provide feedback, and ensure ethical standards are met.
  • To organize professional development sessions and create resources such as workshops, presentations, and toolkits tailored to stakeholder needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of psychology and child development, with the ability to translate concepts into impactful interventions.
  • Research expertise with experience in data analysis and methodology.
  • Proven leadership and team supervision skills to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and design tools like Canva for presentations and reports.
  • Effective crisis management and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
Benefits:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary range of $25,000 - $30,000 per month.
