Financial Expertise Required

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO professional to join our team and bring robust manufacturing domain expertise to the table. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP FI modules, including General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Special Purpose Ledger.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Configuration: Configure SAP FI system settings such as chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, posting periods, and currencies.
  • Transaction Processing: Mastery of financial transaction processing, including journal entries, recurring entries, and payment processing.
  • Transaction Codes: Proficient with SAP transaction codes related to FI, such as FB01, F-02, F110, FBL1N, FBL5N.
  • Integration: Experience with integration of SAP FI with other modules like MM, SD, and CO.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Knowledge of SAP FI reporting and analytics, including generating financial statements and audit reports.
  • Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI system issues and errors.
  • Financial Closing: Understanding of SAP financial closing processes, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Data Migration: Familiarity with SAP data migration tools like LSMW, BAPIs, and IDOCs used in FI data transfers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, such as IFRS, GAAP, and tax laws relevant to FI configuration.
  • S/4HANA Finance: Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance features as FI evolves on the HANA platform.
Requirements:
  • Candidate Qualifications: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with SAP certification, Fiori, and SAP Activate methodology is a plus.
