Job Overview

An accomplished financial professional is required to manage day-to-day accounting duties, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and provide management with accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ledger entries.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and Management Information System (MIS) reports.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Income Tax Return (ITR), and other statutory requirements.
  • Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis.
  • Support audits with proper documentation.
  • Generate reports as needed by management.
  • Process entries like contra, journal, receipt, and payment.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize costs and improve processes.
  • Follow accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience, must have worked under a Certified Accountant (CA) or in a CA firm.
  • Proficient in Tally (knowledge of Zoho or other Enterprise Resource Planning tools is a plus).
  • Good understanding of AP/AR, GST, MIS reporting, and compliances.
  • Experience with inventory accounting is preferred (Food and Vegetable domain is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools.
