Capture Manager Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Capture Manager to play a key role in driving business growth by identifying and capturing new opportunities. As a Capture Manager, you will be responsible for leading the capture process, from developing strategies to preparing proposals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective capture strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Develop and maintain reference databases for technical, management, and past performance information.
  • Prepare written proposals by gathering and formatting information, conducting interviews, and writing drafts.
  • Conduct after-action reviews for all contracts and document lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in capture-related activities, preferably in the Federal or State procurements sector.
  • A solid track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with an understanding of cost and financials.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field, such as English, Journalism, or Communications.

  • Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize, lead, and manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.
