Job Opportunity: Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise to design and develop mechanical systems. This involves ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Piping System Design: Prepare equipment layouts and civil outline drawings for wastewater and desalination projects.
  • Material Specifications: Develop piping material specifications and valve material specifications as per project requirements.
  • Hydraulic Calculations: Verify hydraulic calculations and flow diagrams during detail engineering.
  • Pump and Blower Head Calculations: Prepare pump head calculations and blower head calculations.
  • Procurement: Compile RFQs (ready for quotations) for bought-out items such as intake pumps.
  • Design Fabrication: Design and prepare fabrication skid drawings, including UF Module racks, valve racks, and compact high-pressure RO skids.
  • Drawing Verification: Check piping isometric drawings and 2D GA drawings.
  • Mechanical Drawing Preparation: Ensure mechanical GA drawings are prepared as per bought-out details.
Requirements
  • Education: BE or M Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional Qualifications: MIMechE/MIET or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Technical Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of the design process, engineering, and engineering design.
  • Commercial Awareness: Good understanding of project commercial issues and constraints.
  • Health Safety Environmental Awareness: Appreciation of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems and procedures.
