Urban Mobility Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Urban Mobility Specialist. This role will play a vital part in developing strategies for cities to mitigate the adverse effects of urbanization through policy frameworks, design reviews, and viable proposal development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable low emission zones in Indian cities by developing and operationalizing tailored LEZ frameworks
  • Conduct baseline assessments of vehicular and industrial emissions in targeted cities
  • Identify vehicle categories, emission thresholds, and compliance strategies for LEZ implementation
  • Propose monitoring mechanisms including Vahan data, ANPR, and on-ground enforcement
  • Assess and recommend sustainable mobility solutions: EV adoption pathways, public transport electrification, NMT integration, and multimodal connectivity
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in environmental science, urban planning or design, and/or allied disciplines
  • Proven experience working on urban spatial and/or environmental issues, preferably in air pollution control, EV policy integration, and urban design
  • Understanding of urban mobility challenges and policies
  • Excellent research, data analysis, and communication skills
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience working on green mobility, LEZ projects, or similar in India or abroad
