Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary:

The Senior Platform Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure cloud-based solutions. This individual will be responsible for leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based architectures using public cloud platforms (Azure)
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using languages such as Python and Golang
  • Collaborate with DevOps Engineers and Application Engineers to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of applications
  • Mentor and train junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Participate in design/architecture discussions, meetings, and workshops to drive innovation and improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 6 years of experience in Enterprise IT Environments with a strong background in Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud marketplace services
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present ideas and collaborate with stakeholders
