Financial Operations Manager

Job Overview:
- We seek a skilled professional to manage daily financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable processing, invoice verification, and expense control.
- The ideal candidate will assist with closing processes at the end of each month and year, review and approve journal entries and reconciliations, ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Financial Activities: Perform tasks such as accounts payable and receivable processing, invoice verification, and expense management.
- Closing Processes: Assist in completing these critical tasks to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures, and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Support: Provide guidance and support to junior team members to help them grow and develop in their roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: In Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a BPM/SSC or similar environment.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, and experience with accounting software such as E1, QuickBooks or SAP.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
