Scientific Expert Role

We are seeking a skilled Scientific Subject Matter Expert to play a crucial role in developing high-quality proposals and contracts that align with study protocols and integrate scientific best practices.

This position involves managing the coordination and development of business proposals (RFP/RFI) and contracts for prospects and clients, as well as drafting, reviewing, and assisting with change orders and revisions to those documents in accordance with timelines required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in scientific/medical writing, proposal development, or contract management, with a strong background in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry, including iCRO experience. A bachelor's degree in a related area is also required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the development of business proposals and contracts;
  • Drafting, reviewing, and assisting with change orders and revisions;
  • Optimizing proposal design by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs described in RFPs and associated documentation;
  • Identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals and contracts;
  • Meeting proposal and change order deadlines by establishing target dates and identifying priorities involved in information gathering, writing, review, and finalization.

Requirements include:

  • 2+ years of experience in scientific/medical writing, proposal development, or contract management;
  • 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry, including iCRO experience;
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science/MIS, Science, Law, or related area;
  • Knowledge and understanding of 21CFR Part 11, Good Clinical Practices (ICH E6 GCP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
