Purchasing Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee purchase orders and requisitions, handle procurement processes, and maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of purchase orders and requisitions to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Procurement process management from initiation to completion, including supplier selection and negotiation
  • Maintenance of accurate records of goods ordered and received, including inventory control
  • Negotiation of prices and contracts with suppliers to achieve best value for the organization
  • Liaison between suppliers and project teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the civil engineering or construction industry is advantageous
  • Experience with Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Management
  • Strong Communication skills for effective liaison with suppliers and internal teams
  • Proficiency in Procurement processes and techniques
  • Ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
