Job Title: Japanese Corporate Banking, Portfolio Management Group

Corporate Title: Analyst

Reporting to: AVP

Location: Mumbai

Job Profile:

Position details:

  • Support Portfolio Management Group and handle credit coverage for EMEA subsidiaries of Japanese Corporates.
  • Assess risk factors associated with a credit and determine appropriate rating based on established policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Active Portfolio Management of Designated Customers under the Guidance of Senior Portfolio Managers
  • Manage a designated portfolio of Japanese corporate credit customers.
  • Perform due diligence and scheduled reviews regularly.
  • Analyze credit risk of the designated portfolio, determine accurate ratings, and make recommendations of accurate and timely ratings to management.
  • Prepare detailed credit analysis and credit applications in accordance with EMEA Credit Policy, Credit-Related Procedures, Credit Rules, and JCB Credit Operating Manual.

Key Skills:

  • 1-4 years of working experience in financial institutions or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Japanese language skill preferred.
  • MBA Finance or CA or CFA degree required.
