Strategic Transaction Professional

We seek a seasoned professional to spearhead comprehensive financial and operational due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions transactions. This role will provide exposure not just as an investor but also as an operator.

About the Role

This position is part of an extended investment arm of a conglomerate focusing on retail brands.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct extensive financial and operational due diligence for potential M&A transactions, identifying key risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze financial statements, prepare detailed reports, and perform market research and competitive analysis to support strategic investment decisions.
  • Develop M&A strategies and transaction structuring, and assist in the preparation of financial models and valuation analyses.
  • Spearhead the negotiation and execution of M&A transactions, build strong relationships with clients and portfolio companies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide advisory support to portfolio companies on financial and operational matters, and prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in front-end investing banking is mandatory.
  • End-to-end transaction experience is essential.
  • Experience in the Consumer sector is preferred.
  • Education: CA or MBA is required.
  • Strong financial understanding and analytical skills.
