Security Officer Position

">

We are seeking a qualified Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our premises.

Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Maintain and update security policies and procedures at site, including establishing specific security procedures and crime deterrent programs.">
  • Supervise security and fire safety staff, assign work assignments, and provide training on security procedures and basic fire and first aid.">
  • Ensure complete documentation and police verification of vendor security personnel and periodically audit all contractors for ongoing compliance.">
  • Conduct security investigations and prepare incident reports.">
  • Track material movement and stock of lost and found items.">
  • Handle emergency situations efficiently, including fires, evacuations, customer complaints, and human crises.">
  • Ensure an effective emergency preparedness and disaster management plan is in place, including an ERT (Emergency Response Team).">
  • Conduct security risk assessments and develop effective guarding strategies.">
  • Conduct mock drills on medical emergencies, bomb threats, search handling, riots, etc.">
  • Be proficient with security and safety devices, including CCTV, access control, DFMD, fire detection, and fighting systems.">
  • Carry out weekly meetings with vendor operations heads and share MOMs with PMs and clients.">
  • Maintain clear communication with client SPOCs regarding events, incidents, concerns of security team members, recommendations, staffing needs, etc.">
  • Conduct reviews of security after-hours reports and monitor performance.">
  • Develop liaison with government agencies, including local police and fire services.">
  • Prepare monthly security MIS.">
  • Keep yourself updated by attending training sessions and reviewing publications and audio-visual materials to remain current on principles, practices, and new developments.">
  • Work closely with the estate manager to ensure alignment with company objectives.">

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • ">
  • A degree qualification and 8-10 years of security experience.">
  • Relevant experience in required property types, such as residential or commercial.">
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.">
  • Ability to conduct fire drills and mock drills on emergency scenarios.">
  • Strong analytical and meticulous skills.">
  • Demonstrate integrity in the performance of assigned tasks.">
