Senior Workday Functional Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Senior Workday Functional Consultant to join our offshore team and play a critical role in implementing and configuring Workday solutions. This position offers a great foundation for growth in Product Management, functional consulting, and/or business operations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong Business Analyst (BA) skills combined with Workday functional expertise. They will be responsible for understanding complex business processes, translating them into effective Workday configurations, and communicating seamlessly with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Management to understand requirements, processes, and business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into Workday configurations, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules as per business requirements.
  • Prepare functional documentation, workflows, and support testing/UAT cycles.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Workday configurations and support change management activities.
  • Act as an anchor resource for the offshore team and provide leadership in establishing processes, governance, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, optimize solutions, and provide ongoing support.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants as the offshore team grows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, with at least 2–3 years working with Workday configurations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
