Job Purpose

Our organisation seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead electrical maintenance activities across our plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of electrical maintenance, ensuring that tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement detailed maintenance procedures to ensure safe execution of tasks.
  • Coordinating timely implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintenance costs for mechanical equipment.
  • Recommend alternative maintenance frequencies based on equipment history or regular monitoring surveys to optimise operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inter-discipline work activities.
Management of Stores Consumables
  • Review requirements for new equipment or major repairs and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure no material shortage at any point in time and verify delivered materials meet required standards.
  • Optimise consumables consumption as per the annual business plan.
5S & Safety
  • Oversee daily 5S activities execution on the shop floor.
  • Ensure employees use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety gear while working inside the plant premises.
  • Conduct PEP talks / TBT before operational / Maintenance activities.
Innovation, Automation & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement projects for improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Perform quality control analysis and suggest changes in production process and procedure.
  • Encourage team members' maximum participation in continuous improvement projects.
People Management
  • Timely completion of department performance review process.
  • Timely completion of skill assessment process and improve individual skill index.
